Texas, 2011: Recreational Sports Media, Inc. is pleased to introduce a new media outlet dedicated solely to recreational cheerleading. This often over-looked and often ignored sector is hungry for its own resources and looking for information unique to its needs and the creation of Recreational Cheerleading magazine will endeavor to meet these goals.

With the first issue being released in the fall of 2011, Recreational Cheerleading magazine will fulfill the needs and help all recreational cheerleading athletes, parents, programs and associations. Furthermore, the magazine has established strategic alliances with Pop Warner Little Scholars, Cheer Coach & Advisor magazine and numerous other independent recreational organizations across the country. These alliances will ensure that the magazine reaches hundreds of thousands of cheerleaders, parents, coaches, programs and associations.

Heather Portnoy, the publisher of Recreational Cheerleading magazine, said, "It's very exciting to launch the first ever publication that will be the "voice" for all recreational cheerleading programs. Cheerleaders, coaches and parents now have an exclusive resource focused on the unique needs of recreational cheerleading. Recreational Cheerleading magazine will feature information to help recreational programs of all sizes and be a conduit to share information all over the world."

"We are excited to partner with Recreational Cheerleading magazine during their launch," said Mary FitzGerald, Chief Operating Officer of Pop Warner Little Scholars "Providing a resource for educational information and helpful tips to our young athletes and coaches is what we strive to provide for our members."

Recreational Cheerleading magazine will be printed quarterly, with a target audience of all whom participate in recreational cheerleading including, but not limited to, the athletes, coaches, and parents. Recreational cheerleading is currently a very fast growing sector and one that helps lay the foundation for all the other types of cheerleading, including preparing young athletes for the scholastic and all-star cheerleading markets.

The primary purpose of Recreational Cheerleading magazine will be to educate, inform, and entertain with articles on topics such as cheerleading techniques, health, fitness, safety, rules, and spotlighting top programs across the nation.
